About the Gala

TenActe: EnActe’s 10th Birthday Bash

is not just a fundraiser but a celebration of ten years of the impressive artistic achievements, the social impact and our community building, of which you have been an integral part!

The Gala includes dinner, dancing and

the revue: a dazzling “Ten-Act” of live performances.

Keynote Speaker: Jaaved Jaffrey

Versatility is defined by this prolific actor, dancer, singer, award winning comedian, film producer, and host of several web series and game shows. You have seen him as villain and as hero, and at our own Berkeley Rep as the Dad in Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding!

The Revue: Ten Acts of EnActe!

Come with us on a journey through EnActe’s ambitious and inspiring 10 years of work! This medley of staged scenes, dances, songs and more will boast the talent of extraordinary local performers and designers.

To embrace Eastern and Western traditions of storytelling by developing and presenting thought provoking stories that put South Asian voices in a global context.

To act as an inclusive platform for developing diverse talent in the performance arts.
