Where is the event being held?
The event will be held at the picturesque Pecan Springs Ranch, 10601 B Derecho Dr, Austin, TX 78737
Where should I park?
There is ample free parking available at the venue. There are no parking structures to navigate, payment kiosks to find, or parking spot QR codes to scan! Please let us know if you or a guest is a person with mobility challenges. We will be happy to reserve a space near the entrance for you.
Can children attend the event?
The event is designed for adult guests and will include the service of alcohol. If guests choose to bring children, we kindly request that they ensure supervision for them throughout the event.
What should I wear?
Nature-inspired attire is highly encouraged! We will once again have a costume contest that celebrates guests' imagination and whimsy fitting with this year's theme, 'The Awe of Nature'. Not feeling it? Business casual is fine and if your shirt has a flower or leaf print - all the better!

The event will proceed rain or shine!
Will there be food options for people with dietary restrictions?
Yes, we will have delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. We can vouch for the menu-we were the taste testers!
How will funds raised be used?
All proceeds from the event will directly support Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center and its outstanding programs, including conservation, education, and Girls+ Outside.
Can I deduct the cost of my ticket purchase on my taxes? What about any bids I make and win?
Great news! A portion of your ticket and the amount over fair market value for items you bid on and win are tax-deductible. Just double-check with your accountant for all the details.
Who can I contact for further questions and information?
If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to Rachel Whittaker at rachel@westcave.org or give her a call at (830)825-3442.
I unfortunately can’t attend but would like to donate. How can I make my donation?
We will miss you at the celebration (we're sure you would've had an incredible costume for the contest), but we understand scheduling can be impossible! You can make a donation via the link on this event page. All donations are welcome and we thank you kindly for your generosity and thoughtfulness!
Westcave Preserve was founded in 1976 to restore our spectacular Hill Country grotto. We have since grown to encompass a state-of-the-art Environmental Learning Center and an education program which annually hosts 12,000+ visitors. In 2008, Westcave added 45-acres of buffer to our Preserve known as the Uplands to reach our current size of 76 acres. In 2012, we renamed our organization Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center to reflect our mission of inspiring people to discover the wonder and awe of nature.
